8TH ACMECS SUMMIT

The 8th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy Summit began with the CEO Forum on 15 June, which brought together ACMECS leaders, development partners, financial institutions and the private sector. The 8th ACMECS Summit on 16 June was hosted by the Prime Minister of Thailand, and attended by leaders of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Viet Nam, as well as the ASEAN Secretary-General, with approximately 800 delegates.
